How we handle your data

Short version

We use first-party analytics to understand which pages get visited and to link Nexxus conversations with the visitor who had them. We don't sell your data, we don't run third-party ad trackers, and we don't share with Meta, Google Ads, or anyone else.

What we collect

• A random visitor ID stored in your browser (cookie + localStorage). Lasts one year. No name, no email attached to it until you volunteer one.
• The pages you visit on maxx-effect.com, plus standard referrer and UTM query parameters.
• Approximate location from your IP (country + city, via Vercel). We don't store precise location.
• Nexxus conversations — whatever you type into the chat. If you give Nexxus your name or email, that's saved with the chat log so Rob can follow up.
• Core Web Vitals via Vercel Speed Insights — anonymized page performance numbers, no personal data.

What we don't do

• No Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or other ad-network trackers.
• No cross-site tracking. Your visitor ID only exists here.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties.
• No retargeting pixels following you around the web.

Third parties we do use

• Vercel hosts this site and provides built-in anonymous pageview + Core Web Vitals analytics (no cookies).
• Anthropicpowers Nexxus. Your chat messages are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate replies. Anthropic does not train on API conversations.

Opting out

Clear your cookies + site data for maxx-effect.com and we won't recognize you on return. You can also open private/incognito mode — the visitor ID resets when the session ends. Email Rob at rob@maxx-effect.com if you want data associated with you removed.
